You know what it’s like. You’re scrolling through your emails, scanning subject lines and senders and then you spot it. There’s the familiar email address, not because it’s your mum/bestie/boss/kid’s school but because it’s from a organisation you know by reputation. And then there’s the subject line, telling you’ve been nominated for an award!

This is what happened to our Founder, Kylie Lowe recently when she discovered she had been nominated for an AusMumpreneur Award. The AusMumpeneur awards celebrate mums in all kinds of business, with categories including Customer Service, Influencer and Making a Difference.

And that’s the category Kylie’s been nominated in – because Joining Hands is all about making a difference. And because Joining Hands is a social enterprise, we’ve got a business model that is all about being self-sustaining and putting profits back into the business to provide even MORE access to health and wellness treatments for homeless and vulnerable young people.

Not only was Kylie nominated, she made it through the first round of public voting and is now a finalist in the AusMumpreneur People’s Choice Making a Difference awards. We need you to vote again but get in quick as voting closes on Sunday August 13. It’s super quick and easy to vote! Head over here to vote.

We’ve already noticed an increase in the number of business owners who want to join our tribe of amazing GiveBack Ambassadors since Kylie was nominated. Put simply, the more Ambassadors who join our tribe, the more health and wellness treatments we are able to offer homeless and vulnerable young people. Imagine the publicity if we won! We’re dreaming big (as always!) We’d love it if you would vote for Kylie and help us reach this incredible goal.

Love and gratitude to everyone who has voted so far – let’s do this!
