Our annual retreat for young women was held on Tuesday 14th November and it was a power FULL day! Each ticket sold to our Recalibrate and Reignite retreats earlier in the year funded a place for a homeless and vulnerable young woman to have her own retreat experience.
“I think it’s a brilliant idea and I would do it again.”

We were a group of more than 50 women – 34 young women, their support workers and out team of therapists and GiveBack Ambassadors. The day incorporated relaxation, fun, inspiration, movement and pampering. We acknowledge the courage shown by the young women who joined us for something that was completely unknown to them.
“I liked the day and the people in it because it’s chilled and comfortable.”

The young women said they moved from
feeling nervous and anxious to feeling happy, awesome and joyful;
down and tired to amazing and bubbly, happy and energetic.

Thanks to Vulcana Women’s Circus we had a great big, beautiful space, where there was just enough room for everything we had in store. Over the course of the day, there was hula hoop workshops, inspiring talks, yoga, dance, massages and food.

“I loved meeting new people.”
The highlights for the young women included hula hooping, being able to go at their own pace and the massages.

We are so grateful to our incredible tribe of GiveBack Ambassadors and supporters for what they shared at the retreat – their time, skills, experience and big, big hearts!
