Our Retreats
One Day Women’s Retreats
Held twice a year, Joining Hands’ socially-inclusive women’s one-day retreats have become a marvelous tradition for our community and for us.
For every ticket sold to our retreats, we invite a homeless or vulnerable young woman to also attend for free.
The intent of our retreats is to help attendees hit the reset button, recharge and relax. They offer mix of mindfulness, movement, fun and connection, and importantly, the benefits that come from giving ourselves permission to take some time out.
Attendees enjoy meditation, yoga and Nia Dance, and a choice of workshops – which have ranged from smartphone photography, drawing, low tox living, and dream catcher making.
Retreats are held in beautiful urban locations, with scrumptious food and the simple pleasure of eating and appreciating not having to shop, think, cook, chop or clean up.
Our retreats would not be possible without the support of our tribe of GiveBack Ambassadors, who generously share their time and talents to make each event so special.
